The Look for Success held its annual fundraiser in Michigan (Blooming into Beauty) held at the Detroit Zoo August 2003. Jackie Kallen was the guest speaker and was kind enough to autograph posters from her movie, "Against the Ropes."

Jackie Kallen is a Boxing Manager/Promoter and considered the "First Lady of Boxing." Her life is portrayed by Meg Ryan in the Paramount film "Against The Ropes." Jackie is also a TV star of the new NBC show- The Contender, a reality boxing show with Sylvester Stallone and Sugar Ray Leonard which will air Feb. 2005.
